Hosting
A domain is your website's address (like yourbusiness.com), while web hosting is the server space where your website's files, databases and email live. You need both: the domain points visitors to your hosting account.
Yes. Every shared and business hosting plan includes a free SSL certificate, so your website loads securely over HTTPS.
Yes. Hosting accounts are managed through cPanel, where you can create email accounts, databases and subdomains, manage files and install apps such as WordPress with the auto script installer.
Yes. Hosting accounts are backed up automatically every day. We still recommend keeping your own copy of important content, as our Terms explain.
Yes. Website migration is free. After ordering a hosting plan, open a support ticket and our team will move your website files, databases and email from your current host.
For most new WordPress sites, a shared hosting plan is enough: it includes cPanel with one-click WordPress installation, free SSL and daily backups. Busier sites and online stores benefit from a larger plan with more storage and bandwidth.
Start with the number of websites, email accounts and databases you need, then the storage and bandwidth. Each plan lists its exact limits. If you are unsure, start smaller: you can move to a larger plan as your site grows by contacting support.
Uptime is the share of time your website is reachable. BGS HOST commits to 99.9% network uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance, as set out in our Terms & Conditions.
Domains
Yes. Search for a name on our domain registration page and register it in a few clicks. Extensions currently available: .com, .net, .org, .com.pk and .pk.
Domain transfers are not available as a self-service order at the moment. Contact our support team and we will explain the options for your domain extension.
No. We keep hosting prices low and transparent instead of bundling a "free" domain into the cost. You can register a domain separately whenever you need one.
Billing
BGS HOST shared hosting starts from Rs.5,000 PKR per year. Every price is shown in Pakistani rupees on the plan, with the storage, bandwidth, email and database limits listed next to it.
Yes. Our prices are listed in Pakistani rupees (PKR), and you can pay in rupees by Bank Transfer.
You can currently pay with Bank Transfer and USDT TETHER. You can also add funds to your account balance and pay invoices from your dashboard.
Services are billed in advance for the billing cycle you choose and renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. We email renewal reminders before invoices fall due.
No. As stated in our Terms & Conditions, hosting, domain and add-on fees are non-refundable once the service has been provisioned or activated, so please check your order before paying. If you have a billing problem, contact us and we will help.
